About me

What brought me to Align

I started Direct Sales 20 years ago to generate income for my family. I wanted to give my children the best life possible. I lived for my children, that was my job, but I needed more. I wanted to be home and raise my children. I did all of that and more.

4 years ago I went through a messy divorce. My Direct Sales friends carried me through it all. They listened, guided and lifted me to levels I didn't think were possible. They kept me sane and focused.

Funny thing about my marriage is that I knew something wasn't right for some time, but I was hopeful for our future. I had started with a new company in 2012 and things seemed like I was on the right path. Little did I know the last 11 years my purpose was to learn my worth and acknowledge the fact that I AM A SURVIVOR.

At the same time my marriage was coming to an end, we were told our incomes were going to be slashed. I had faith, I knew I’d be ok. Unfortunately for me, my manifester seemed to be on the slow side, which probably meant I just needed to learn patience.

I thought to myself, I need to find another company to join, but only if I’m frontline to the company.  Well I'm here to say prayers have been answered. I will be starting with a new start-up company February 1st as a front line Ambassador to this amazing company.

Let me tell you how it all transpired. Eleven years ago I left an amazing company. I left not because of the people or their culture. THOSE THINGS WERE THE CREME OF THE CROP!! I left because, I just wasn't making the income I needed to move forward. One month into joining my previous company, I was approached, by Jesi Conder. She had come from the previous company, said she knew who I was and heard me speak and loved that I was real, (to this day, I still question her hearing me speak and still wanting to be a part of what I was doing. I wasn't the best speaker, but happy to say my speaking skills have much improved). She wanted in on what I was doing. HELL YES!

What happened next blew my mind. We were the most successful team in the company. We had it all, we had brought the culture and the love that we had from our previous business and we grew and grew and grew.

Little did we know that things  weren't as rosy as they seemed. There were a lot of things working against us. But we persevered, because that is what strong women do. Jesi decided to leave my team in 2020 and pursue other avenues of income. I bid her farewell and said I will see you again. We stayed in touch. I have always valued her thoughts and opinions. There are few people out there that I say I LOVE YOUR BRAIN, well she is one of them.

She reached out to me, sometime back in 2022 and said she had a number for a distributor for beauty products and she was going to talk to them. I was ecstatic and not the least surprised. I told her to run and get it started, I would be her biggest supporter. To hear what she was doing and what was about to happen had me hopeful again. Doors were opening, no they were being thrown open every step she took and I was going to be a part of it.

2022 was a big year for me. I had no choice but to get a full time job, but it all ALIGNED. After 3 years of looking for some security, I finally found a job that was perfect for me.  Minus the fact that I now had a boss, co-workers and I had to go in and sit at a desk from 8-5. It was a recruiting position for the Guardian ad Litem Office. I would be recruiting volunteers to advocate for children who have been removed from their home due to neglect and or abuse. This brought two of my passions together, helping kids and bringing people together.  It's also helped me to see that my desire to be a foster parent is in fact needed desperately in our country.  My prayer is that with this new venture I can make that all a reality.

So here I am at the age of 51 literally ground floor, starting over, doing the hard things once again, about to take on the next chapter of my life. I couldn't be prouder to take this journey with some of the most incredible women I've ever met. Here's to Aligning our Lives and our Purpose!!
